I researched clickbait—how it spreads, whether people trust it, and what it does to attention.
At the Cognitive Sciences Lab, IIIT Hyderabad, I worked with Dr Kavita Vemuri on eye-tracking studies and news credibility experiments. My MS thesis explored the proliferation of clickbait in news media and evaluated its impact on news credibility and readers' visual attention.
I worked with Dr Hendrik Rommeswinkel at NTU Taiwan, studying demographic and macroeconomic factors affecting consumer choice. I also collaborated with Dr Prithviraj Mukherjee at IIM Bangalore on behavioral experiments using eye-trackers.
